Virtual Teaching & Learning Conference 2020 – A Great Success!
The Annual Bolton Learning Partnership Teaching and Learning Conference went online this year, but was no less amazing!
With over 80 participants from schools across Bolton, the event which was held on Friday 10th July 2020 comprised of multiple sessions throughout the day aimed at supporting NQTs and ITTs within Bolton to share excellent educational practice and excellence in pedagogy. With sessions including effective questioning, supporting learners with autism and classroom management in a Covid-19 World members embraced educational challenges with rigour, trust, commitment and a common moral purpose, and supported those who are new to the teaching profession through continued learning and development for the benefit of all of our 19K plus students in Bolton.
Caroline Molyneux, Hub Lead for the Teaching and Learning Hub and Deputy Headteacher at Sharples School said,
“A virtual conference is a first for Bolton Learning Partnership Teaching and Learning Hub. The senior leaders from across Bolton who lead the hub are fantastic people and excellent educational practitioners who worked so hard to put the conference together. The conference provides a great start to the careers of the NQTs and ITT’s who attended and the positive impact on educational practice in Bolton is substantial. We were so pleased with the level of engagement, it was superb.”
