The purpose of the partnership is to support the personal development, attainment and achievement of all our students in Bolton.  To achieve this purpose, we have three overarching aims which are to develop:

• Leadership – we aim to develop and create leaders; to deepen their skills and knowledge, share best practice within and across our schools and colleges and to create leadership capacity and educational improvement.
• Teaching and Learning – working together and with others we develop pedagogy, share best teaching and learning practice thus supporting the raising of attainment and progress of all students at all levels and from all backgrounds.
• Intervention – to develop support to meet the immediate needs of members; to share best intervention practice; to help our members to meet short term targets for their students

We do this through working with partners locally, regionally and nationally.
