Dr Tina Rae has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Education and a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Professional Educational Psychology. She has also conducted research on the topic of children missing education for the Doctorate in applied child and educational psychology at the University of East London and been awarded the qualification of Doctor of Applied Child and Educational Psychology.
Tina specialises in social, emotional and behavioural disorders and difficulties and is also experienced in working therapeutically with children and young people and their parents/carers. She is HCPC registered and a member of the British Psychological Society and the AEP. She is currently a Professional and Academic tutor on the Doctorate in Child and Educational Psychology at UEL. Tina is vice chair of SEBDA, a member of ENSEC and a trustee of the Nurture group Network. She is also a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Nurture in Education
Tina joined colleagues from Bolton Learning Partnership at a SEND Hub twilight training session which took place on 2nd March 2021 to share effective strategies to support students with social, emotional and mental health difficulties in the classroom.
