Strengthening Ambitious Collaboration Across Bolton Two New Networks Launched
This year, the Bolton Learning Partnership is delighted to introduce two new professional networks designed to strengthen collaboration, share expertise, and enhance support for children and young people across the partnership.
The Trauma-Informed Practice Network now meets half-termly, bringing together staff from schools across Bolton to share best practice, problem-solve, and explore innovative approaches to supporting pupils who have experienced adversity. These sessions create a safe, reflective space for colleagues to learn from one another while deepening their understanding of trauma-informed cultures. The network is supported by Bolton’s Educational Psychology team, Public Health Bolton and the BLP Inclusion Executive Board, ensuring a strong multidisciplinary foundation for this important work.
Alongside this, the new Attendance Network has been established to drive forward improvements in school attendance across Bolton. Strategic leads met for the first time in November, focusing on strengthening systems, identifying shared challenges, and building consistent approaches to promoting excellent attendance for every child. This hub is supported by Bolton’s Early Intervention Team, the Local Authority and the Inclusion Executive Board.
Both networks offer valuable opportunities to collaborate, reflect and innovate.
