Bolton Learning Partnership Enabling Leaders Programme
Over 120 leaders from schools across Bolton are now enrolled in the Enabling Leaders programme, designed specifically to support the development of leadership in our town. The programme’s framework focuses on the key characteristics of both leadership and leading within schools, offering a tailored approach to meet the unique needs of Bolton’s education community.
Participants begin by self-evaluating against ten agreed criteria, providing a reflective tool to help them understand their strengths and areas for growth. They then engage in a Precise Professional Conversation, designed to further enhance their leadership skills and drive positive change within their schools.
This programme is a significant investment in those leaders who are at the forefront of transforming education across the region. Many individual schools and Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) have also embraced the framework, using it to develop their leadership teams and align efforts with shared goals.
As we continue to grow as leaders, using a common language and framework enables us to work more cohesively and strategically, ensuring the best educational outcomes for the 19,000 young people in Bolton. If you’re interested in learning more about the programme, please contact Tony Purcell to discuss how you can get involved in the second launch this Spring.
