Inclusion at the Heart: Our New Inclusion Executive Board
The Bolton Learning Partnership is excited to announce the formation of its newly established Inclusion Executive Board, which builds upon the fantastic work of the Behaviour Inclusion Partnerships launched in 2023-4. These partnerships, covering the three clusters of secondary schools in Bolton, have proven to be a powerful tool in promoting inclusion across the borough. Through collaborative efforts, schools have worked proactively to ensure every student has the support they need to thrive.
This year, the partnership continues its focus on fostering best and next practices in key areas such as inclusion, attendance, and safeguarding. The Inclusion Executive Board is dedicated to ensuring that every school has access to the latest resources, training, and expertise to further strengthen their inclusion practices.
A key area of growth this year is the development of trauma-informed approaches, aimed at supporting students with emotional and psychological challenges. Additionally, the Inclusion Quality Mark initiative, which helps schools assess and improve their inclusion practices, will continue to be a priority. These efforts are designed to ensure that Bolton’s secondary schools remain inclusive, supportive environments where all students can succeed, regardless of their background or challenges. The work of the Inclusion Executive Board marks an exciting step forward in fostering a more inclusive and supportive educational landscape in Bolton.
